GoodNightPC is a small and simple Windows shutdown utility. Actually, I can say that it's one of the most simple shutdown utilities I've ever tested.

You can use it in order to shutdown, log off, suspend, hibernate and lock your computer. You can use the program to schedule your shutdown operation in two ways: you can set the period of time after which the computer should shut down, log off, etc, or you can set the computer to shutdown at a certain time.

You can set the program to forcefully terminate the processes and to make your screen blink for a short period of time before shutdown.

Pluses: Small, compact, easy to use.

Drawbacks / flaws: There aren't any options included such as the cleaning of temporary files before shutdown or shutdown if system is idle for a certain period of time.

In conclusion: Too simple, in my opinion. Before buying it, you might want to take a look at other free products such as: Shutdown Monster
